The Old Skool Shoes in Ballad Blue have swapped out the usual canvas build and replaced it with a fuzzy suede upper. The Old Skool debuted back in 1977 as the so called "Style 36" and were the first to bare the iconic side stripe. The Vans Old Skool are more durable with re-enforced suede toe caps and heel panel to withstand repeated wear and padded collars for support and flexibility.
The soft ballad blue colourway is shown off brilliantly with a contrasting leather side stripe and tonal stitching. The Vans ‘Off The Wall’ rubber logo on the heel in a bright red jumps out at you to make these shoes even more appealing. To finish the Old Skool pair Vans have added their famous signature rubber waffle outsole while sitting atop a chunky white midsole.
